LEED Certification

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification provides independent, third-party verification indicating that a building project meets the highest green building and performance measures. All certified projects receive a LEED plaque, which is the nationally recognized symbol demonstrating that a building is environmentally responsible, profitable, and a healthy place to live and work.

100% of Schlesinger Companies office towers are LEED Certified.

Energy Star

All Schlesinger Companies Properties have their energy usage collected and tracked in Energy Star. Administered by the USEPA, joining this program has allowed us to collect and use valuable energy expenditure data that we can use to monitor, and improve, our overall environmental impact.

B Corp Certification

We believe in conducting business in a way that moves the world in a positive direction. Schlesinger Companies has been a B Corporation since January 2023, becoming part of a global community with thousands of businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental impact.

Philanthropy

The Schlesinger Family Foundation has supported charitable organizations and educational institutions in Oregon, Washington, and California since 1981. The foundation focuses its advocacy to supporting medical research and care, higher education, and conservation of the environment. By contributing more than one million dollars across ten universities, the foundation has created 12 endowed scholarships serving students across 3 states. Recently the foundation has made a commitment to increase support for environmental sustainability and conservation efforts.
