Designed by architect A.E. Doyle, 610 SW Alder was acquired by Schlesinger Companies in 1966. Since taking ownership, Schlesinger Companies has worked to preserve the building's legacy. Previously called the Oregon National Building, it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991 and restored to its original name, the Selling Building, in 2009. The building was certified LEED Silver by the USGBC in 2023. Conveniently located downtown, it offers easy access to parking and transit lines connecting shopping, business, and residential areas. Building amenities include a modern fitness center and a secure access system.
