805 Broadway Building
A relationship with Pacific Telecom, a rapidly growing tenant in Schlesinger Companies’ downtown Portland portfolio, created the opportunity to develop Vancouver, Washington’s tallest office tower in 1983. Originally named the Sea First Building, it consists of 230,000 square feet of Class A office space on 10 floors, 20,000 square feet of retail space, and 100 below-grade parking spaces. This development signaled the re-emergence of Vancouver’s downtown district and brought high-paying jobs back to the downtown core. The building was completed five months ahead of schedule and $2.5 million under budget.
In late 2007, Schlesinger Companies successfully completed the buy-out of its partner’s interest in the building and became the sole-owner of this asset. In 2008, Schlesinger Companies began a major capital expenditure program including a complete lobby renovation. Star Park currently manages the on-site parking program. The building was LEED Certified in 2015.
