805 Broadway Building “LEEDS” the way for Vancouver Class “A” Office.

September 17, 2015 (Vancouver, WA) – The Schlesinger Companies have received LEED® Certification for the 805 Broadway Building located in Downtown Vancouver, Washington. The building consists of 275,000 square feet of Class A office space on 10 floors and is an iconic feature of Vancouver’s skyline. The LEED rating system, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), is the premier program for buildings, homes, and communities that are designed, constructed, maintained, and operated for improved environmental and human health performance.

The Schlesinger Companies built the 805 Broadway Building which is the largest office tower in Clark County and have continuously owned and managed the project since completion in 1982. The 805 Broadway Building which has also been known as the Bank of America Financial Center, achieved LEED Certification for implementing measurable strategies and solutions aimed at achieving high performance in: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality. LEED is the foremost program for the design, construction, and operation of green buildings. More than 29,000 commercial projects have been certified including over 4.25 billion commercial square feet.
