Schlesinger Companies is breaking ground on a new apartment project containing 108 units in 2017. The parcel was sold to Koz Development in 2016 by Schlesinger Companies who will continue to be an investor in the project and manage the 25 parking spaces on the completed property. The building is located on the border of Portland State University’s urban campus and seeks to provide affordable and high quality housing in a highly sought after area. This is Koz Development’s second project in Portland. Koz CEO Cathy Reines said “Working side-by-side with Schlesinger Companies during the City of Portland’s entitlement process has been a pleasure. The Companies’ integrity and collaboration was imperative to the project’s success.”
